Charter flights

This is one of the easiest ways to travel, as everything is arranged for you. You can book everything at once, and usually for your entire travel group. Of course, you are limited to choosing from the options that someone else has set up, but the selection is large.

Another advantage is that charter flights rarely have layovers. As with everything else, demand drives the price. This means that it can be very advantageous to go on a charter trip outside of school holidays, for example.

Companies using charter airlines

Here's a list of companies that use dedicated charter flights on their travels, starting in Norway. (They may also have flights that go on scheduled flights)

  • Amisol    - Amisol Travel (formerly Pyramid Travel) has trips to Egypt and Italy (in 2023)
  • Apollo    - Charter flights and much more. Wide range of destinations
  • Mixx Travel     – Pretty new to Norway. Has trips to Turkey, Greece and Cyprus (in 2023)
  • Nazar    - All inclusive reiser til Tyrkia og Rhodos (i 2023)
  • TUI     - The world's largest travel operator. Very large selection of destinations
  • Turkey Tours     - Has trips to Turkey, Greece and Cyprus (in 2023)
  • Ving     - Norway's largest tour operator. Very large selection of destinations
  • Vitaleiser     – One of the smaller companies

Flights and accommodation

The difference between "Flights and Accommodation" and charter trips is that "Flights and Accommodation" uses scheduled flights and does not necessarily include additional services. Some charter companies also offer such deals .

There are many companies that sell such packages. Here are some that are aimed at the Norwegian market:

  • Allinc -    There's most of it here. Good descriptions in Norwegian
  • Allinclusive    – Specializes in All Inclusive travel
  • Escapeaway    - Large selection
  • Norwegian -     Here the airline Norwegian offers flights and accommodation to its destinations
  • Solfaktor    - Usable selection. The same as Allinclusive?
  • Ticket     - Covers most things. Also has an overview of charter flights and last minute deals
  • TripX     - Quick searches with quite a large selection

Airlines

Although search engines usually do an excellent job, it may also be useful to go directly to the airlines' own pages. For example, it is not always easy to register points in the airlines' loyalty programs if it is not ordered directly from the airline. In case of any problems or changes, it may also be useful to avoid such intermediaries.

The largest Norwegian airlines
